Round Table 31, City Ladies Circle 16 With KVB Inaugurated Classroom Blocks

As part of Round Table India’s vision of “Freedom Through Education”, Coimbatore City Round Table 31, Coimbatore City Ladies Circle 16 along with Karur Vysya Bank inaugurated two classroom block at Panchayat Union Middle School (PUMS) in Ellapalayam village, Annur Block, Coimbatore on January 27th 2021.
The construction that began in August was completed by January along with continuous CSR fund support from Karur Vysya Bank.
The plots were inaugurated by R Venkateshan, Deputy General Manager, Karur Vysya Bank, Coimbatore division, Tr. Pradeep Rajappa, Area 7 Chairman and Cr. Shalaka Vora, Chairperson, Ladies Circle. With more than a strength of 240 students, the classroom blocks will support close to 100 students. The function was convened by Tr. Dayanand Palaniswamy (Chairman CCRT 31) and Cr. Sindhuja Dayanand (Chaiperson CCLC 16). Round Table India is currently spread across 90+ Cities & Towns as Tabling Centers. The other flagship projects of CCRT 31 and CCLC 16 include – The Artificial Limb Centre at Government School in R.S Puram that was constructed with an aim of providing free artificial limbs to amputees. The centre currently manufactures and supplies the limbs along with many community service projects.
