Vijayabasker presented the award to KG Hospital Chief Executive Officer R.Gandhiraj and General Manager (Insurance) Krishnaveni at a function got up at Omandurar Government Estate, Chennai recently.<br \/>\nKG Hospital Chairman Dr G.Bakthavathsalam thanked Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy and Health Minister Dr Vijayabasker for giving the award to KG Hospital. At a felicitation function held at the hospital auditorium, Dr Bakthavathsalam said that the government\u2019s health insurance scheme had helped the poor patients to undergo life-saving surgeries, which they could not afford otherwise.<br \/>\nDr Bakthavathsalam further said that for the past 45 years KG Hospital had been doing yeomen services for the cause of healthcare.
