Over 15 retail stores and 55 distributors across India, the brand has also got closer to consumer\u2019s home through their sleek online portal. \u201cAll of us at Salona were looking to diversify yarn into garments. Gradually, we began making ladies leggings out of cotton spandex, and being a demanding product, it naturally worked! That\u2019s when we thought about venturing into selling finished products as we were already supplying quality raw materials to many manufacturers and dealers for these similar kinds of products,\u201d said Raghav, when asked about how he began the company.
\nNewrie is a one-stop for all kinds of bottom wears ranging from classic palazzos, Korean jeggings, Fleece jeggings, ankle length leggings, treggings, culottes, comfort cotton pants and trendy v-neck, crew neck and round neck t-shirts.
\nWhen asked why he opted for a women\u2019s line of clothing, Raghav replied, \u201cIt is great to be part of a clothing line that keeps evolving and women\u2019s fashion has always been trendy and challenging.\u201d
\nTaking a green footprint amidst Covid period, Newrie has also launched organic face masks which are softer and hypo allergic. The masks are sustainable and importantly eco-friendly helping customers to re-use them unlike other use and throw ones. They also are the first in India to receive organic certification for masks. \u201cWe were making masks for people in our factory to enable a safer workplace and that\u2019s when I thought why not actually market it for our consumers. Hence, that\u2019s when we started selling organic face masks\u201d added Raghav.
