A state level Republic Day Taekwondo competition was conducted by Department of School Education, Tamilnadu at Tuticorin between 27.01.2020 and 29.01.2020. More than 500 students from 32 districts participated in various events. Under below 29kg category, Harshini, VII C won the Gold Medal and A.Madhumitha of VIII A won the gold medal in under 14 above 38 kg category in the Taekwondo competition. Sportybeans is a multi-sports skills development program which introduces pre-school and primary school children between the ages of 3.5 to 9 years to the concepts and skills involved in the nine core sports of the Sportybeans curriculum.
