KG Hospital Adds Another Feather To Its Cap, Wins TN Govt’s Award

One more feather to the cap of KG Hospital in winning the Tamil Nadu government’s ‘Best Performance Award’ for having done thousands of surgeries under the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme.
State Health Minister Dr C. Vijayabasker presented the award to KG Hospital Chief Executive Officer R.Gandhiraj and General Manager (Insurance) Krishnaveni at a function got up at Omandurar Government Estate, Chennai recently.
KG Hospital Chairman Dr G.Bakthavathsalam thanked Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy and Health Minister Dr Vijayabasker for giving the award to KG Hospital. At a felicitation function held at the hospital auditorium, Dr Bakthavathsalam said that the government’s health insurance scheme had helped the poor patients to undergo life-saving surgeries, which they could not afford otherwise.
Dr Bakthavathsalam further said that for the past 45 years KG Hospital had been doing yeomen services for the cause of healthcare. Several poor patients had benefited from its healthcare services given with loving tender care.
Chairman said that the KG Hospital had got the award due to the untiring efforts of the entire medical fraternity, nurses, supporting staff, technicians and other employees of the hospital.
